HISTORY
veronica, better known as ronnie, was always living life on the wild side. she grew up in a relatively poor household, and her father was often taking to the illegal side to drum up some cash. being surrounded by that life, ronnie became rather interested in the money that could be made. she knew her body was something that could earn her coin, which is what she had started with first. she knew how to use her body to her benefit.she became interested in the more dangerous stuff when she first picked up a gun. it fascinated her. at the time she’d been dating an older man who was part of one of the local gangs. she tagged along one day, a drug supply run that ended badly. the cops had been waiting, and he was arrested. she pleaded the guilt card, made a very convincing plea that she had been told to go along or else she would never see the light of day again. her puppy dog eyes sold it in court, and she was a free woman again.of course, she went right back to the life of crime. it was a thrill, a rush to do these sorts of things. she was damn good at it too for a tiny girl. no one suspected the sweet, innocent girl. she was a nice distraction piece, and it was much easier to kill who she needed to. but to cover up this life, she got a real job as a waitress at a local restaurant, and lived in a shitty apartment to play off the part of a struggling independent, even though she was making thousands.

HISTORY
teeny was born with symbrachydactyly ( sim-BRA-chi-DAK-til-ee ), a condition in which the growth of fingers is stunted or non-existent. in teeny’s case, her left hand has no fingers at all, and are only knuckles that protrude slightly. this made life a little difficult for her, and as a young girl she was teased because of it. however that didn’t delay her growth as a person. despite the negativity from her condition, she blossomed into an outgoing, excited individual. she is care-free, usually always happy and the life of the party. she has no fear talking to people, and can easily get along with anyone. she does not let her condition define her.teeny can often be seen with her english mastiff june. her dog is three years old and a lot like her. playful, easily excited etc. they are a good match for each other. june is also her protector, and when the year of 1983 rolls around things definitely change. how does teeny know? the uneasiness in her dog. whenever night comes the dog seems to be on alert, barking at seemingly nothing. the lights will flicker on occasion and teeny just gets a strange vibe. and when two kids go missing she knows something isn’t right. however, as far as the main story in season one teeny is not involved and doesn’t know the real story behind the disappearances. in the year of ‘84 is when she discovers the secret of hawkins and what happened the year prior. when strange alien dogs cross her path she knows something is up. being the curious cat she is she ended up following them to the junkyard where she saw steve harrington trying to fend off the monsters. she didn’t approach, in fact she did the opposite and ran back home to tell her parents. of course they didn’t believe her, and before she could figure out what truly happened it was covered up again. but teeny knew damn well there was something going on.finally, when the summer of ‘85 comes she’s working at starcourt mall at foot locker. she hasn’t forgotten the strange happenings that went on in hawkins, and she’s now more observant than ever. its finally in ‘85 that she makes herself known and becomes a part of the whole other world conspiracy, eager to help put an end to whatever is tormenting their once peaceful town.

HISTORY
adelaine was born january 11th, 2001 to nadine collins, a single mother who owned a small house close to the high school. addy never knew who her father was, and any attempt to bring it up only resulted in her mother shutting down. life was pretty normal for the first twelve years of her life. she went to school, she lived her life, until her mother was diagnosed with ALS. quickly life had changed for addy, her mother becoming bedridden in the years to follow. this meant that addy had to grow up before she should’ve, before she really got to experience being a teenager. she was taking care of her mother, shouldering the bills as well. she managed to get a job working at the general store, which helped with the bills. because of this addy didn’t have many friends, nor did she have time to go out and party like the rest of her peers. if she wasn’t at school, she was either working or taking care of her mother at home. she could not really maintain friendships because of this. her peers didn’t experience this, therefore they didn’t understand what she was going through and why she couldn’t spend time outside of school. this sort of hardened her as a person. she was still a bit shy, still isolated, but she could hold her own if need be. she could stand up for herself if she had to. knowing that her mother could pass away any day just made that quality more present. the average lifespan for someone with ALS is 3 years, and her mother was already coming up on 6. this meant that addy hadn’t much time left with her mother, and she was worriedly counting the days until she’d be left alone.it came as a shock when the town seemed to disappear. coming back from the trip she’d been relieved because she would’ve just been worrying about her mother the entire time. but she knew something was wrong when she went home and the bed was empty. quickly she had started to panic, because all she knew was her mother, all she knew was a life of being caretaker. without a purpose addy didn’t know what to do, or how to act. she was sick with worry for the one person she cared most about in her life.

HISTORY
hannah was just twelve years old when the apocalypse began. she had a relatively normal life until that point, with loving parents who doted on her as an only child. hannah knew early on that she wasn't interested in boys. she liked girls, and her parents were okay with that.hannah and her parents found a community called oceanside, and resided there. considering it was an apocalypse, all seemed okay until one day a nasty group descended upon the community. a man named negan stepped forward, gathering some into a circle. he told them how it would be moving forward, that he essentially owned them and they worked for him. to prevent any retaliation, he killed one of the men in a brutal way. from that point on things were different, oceanside struggled to keep themselves alive and keep the saviors happy.as if things couldn't get worse, their savior liaison simon paid them a visit. the next thing they knew, all the men were slaughtered by simon and his group of saviors. this devastated the women of oceanside, as many were left as widows, fatherless, brotherless, and childless. hannah was now left without a father, her mother without a husband. losing nathaniel was hard, but no one took it harder than hannah's mother. grief took her, until one day she just couldn't handle it anymore. she disappeared, and to this day hannah doesn't know if she killed herself, ran away, or still roams the earth as one of the dead.when asked to fight, hannah was ready. she was only sixteen, but she couldn't stand the thought of the saviors ruling oceanside anymore. together with alexandria, hilltop, and the kingdom, they went to war and eventually defeated the saviors and negan. oceanside was free, but they would always remember the pain and the grief caused by negan. especially hannah.

mateo was born to the loving home of carmila and juan perez. he was born in america, new mexico to be exact. they didn't live there for long though, moving to california when mateo was only two. he grew up knowing nothing but love and respect. his parents were prime examples of how couples should be, and his father was an excellent display of how to treat women. carmila also made sure that mateo knew how to be polite and respectful to those in charge and to his peers. of course she also taught him not to tolerate abuse, and that going to a grown up for help was not wrong or "tattling" as the kids claimed it was. he became known as a narc to bullies, and a hero to the victims. this inspired him to venture into law enforcement.mateo became a cop at the age of twenty three, and maintained this career until he hit the age of forty. he decided he didn't want to continue living the dangerous life, but he still wanted to help people in need. so instead, he moved into the private investigator field, where he could still do the work of a detective without the brutal murders. it was a way for him to expose the jerks of the world without the risk of gunfire and standoffs. for the most part anyway.

roberta was born to live the rancher life. she was brought up as a farmers daughter and inherited her parents land when they passed away in the 80's. bobbi was just thirty-two years old when her parents died, and was suddenly in charge of a massive land with crops and cattle to tend to. she made an honest living on the ranch, which was located just outside of pecos, texas. all was well until the world turned upside and the dead rose to start eating people.bobbi was pretty much self sufficient. she had her own land, plenty of crops, plenty of canned goods and animals to eat when times were tough. the ranch ran on solar power, so for her life pretty much continued as normal until a year in, when a herd overran the ranch. bobbi was able to escape in time with plenty of ammunition packed in her bag. she chose to stock up on bullets over food, because food she could hunt, but ammunition? that wasn't as easy to come by. she took off on the back of her two year old mustang spirit (it was her favorite movie even though she was 52 years old when it came out) and headed for a place she knew she'd be safe.the chihuahuan desert of west texas.bobbi knew she'd be able to survive out here, already used to the crippling heat. mustangs are also one of the few breeds that are acclimated to such terrains, so she knew her horse would be okay. she found herself an old RV in the middle of the desert, and made it her new home. she's a loner, who prefers the company of her horse over the company of people. if you come across her, you best mind your manners, because she is not afraid to shoot you dead and leave you to the buzzards.

jolene was basically set up for failure. her parents were addicts, who lost custody of her the day she was born. she was a product of the system, moving from foster home to foster home, each one just as awful as the last. she went through seven different homes until she was thirteen, when she arrived at the johnston house. there, she was placed with three other children. two boys and a girl. the boys were carson and brendan, aged eleven and ten. the girl, cassandra nicholson, was only two years of age. the johnstons were like so many of the other foster families jolene had been with, just useless bodies collecting checks. at just thirteen she became responsible for three kids, and was forced to raise them while their so called foster parents gambled the money meant to feed them away.jolene stayed at this home until she finally aged out of the system at eighteen. during her time at the johnston house, she became particularly attached to cassandra, who she called cassie. she was the one she really did raise, as the boys weren't much younger than her. she was fiercely protective of cassie, and once she aged out she took cassie out of that house and was on the run. the johnstons were getting a new batch of kids anyway, it's not like they'd miss the money.they struggled for some time, in and out of shelters in various cities, always leaving before family services could be notified. as far as jolene was concerned, the system was a joke and she wouldn't subject cassie to that life any more.finally jolene got a job bartending, and was finally able to really support cassie like she deserved. they got a trailer in a trailer park, where they live to this day. occasionally jolene will perform at the bar she works. her dream had always been to do something with her singing, but life had dealt her a shitty hand.though they had some money now, life was anything but peachy. jolene was someone who never had a real childhood, forced to grow up far too soon, whereas cassie hadn't really grown up at all. how could she when she was being raised by a child herself? jolene has a lot of issues, a lot of trauma from the various homes and because her innocence was ripped away at such a young age, she finds it hard to deal with life sometimes. she has depression, anger issues, and self destructive behavior. when living in the johnston home, she would self harm as a way to release the pent up emotions. now that she's an adult, she often uses alcohol as a means to cope with her trauma. she knows it's unhealthy, she's tried time and time again to get sober for cassie, but she always ends up breaking that sobriety.jolene also argues with cassie a lot, especially once cassie became a teenager. jolene should never have been a mother at such an age, but she was and she chose to continue that path moving forward. with all of her struggles, sometimes the stress gets to her and she lashes out on cassie. never physical, but they have been known to get into screaming matches. cassie of course has her own issues and struggles, and usually after a fight she disappears, going on a binge and finding someone to share a bed with for the night. it's her way of retaliating after jolene lashes out. this of course just makes matters worse and causes jolene a lot of worry the whole night. they always make up, but the next fight is always around the corner.jolene also tends to sleep around, not really having the mental capacity to commit to one person. she wants to, but with everything going on in her life and no healthy way to process it, she finds it extremely difficult. she would love to get therapy, but the cost for one session is more than she can afford when she has bills to think about. in her mind it's far cheaper to get drunk than to sit and talk about her issues for an hour.
